BBB® of Central and Northern Alberta is pleased to announce a partnership with MovesOnline.com, a new online moving tool for relocating consumers to complete their household inventory and get moving quotes online.
This partnership will provide consumers with an easy way to contact and receive estimates from BBB Accredited Movers, within the service area of BBB of Central and Northern Alberta.
From BBB websites for Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Red Deer and regional information pages, consumers will be able to submit their inventories online. Inventories can be submitted to a maximum of four participating BBB Accredited movers. Consumers, upon completing of an inventory; will receive online tips about packing and preparing to move

BBB now has an interface for mobile phones providing those using hand held devices an easy way to see the search and search results.
The interface is located at m.bbb.org, but this site is configured so that from a user perspective, the process is completely automated. When a hand held device user accesses www.bbb.org, they will be directed automatically to this interface. This interface will adapt to an iPhone, Blackberry, or other Windows mobile device.
One of the features of this interface is that search results include the phone numbers of BBB Accredited Businesses. Thanks to these smart devices, a click on the phone number will call the business. In addition, when a mobile device supports it, maps for the business location will display on click. Finally, the interface footer has a link to the Find A BBB page on the national site to enable mobile users to view the full Web site if necessary
BBB of Central & Northern Alberta has now made requesting prices and information, from BBB Accredited Businesses, easier.
Consumers and other businesses can now request prices and information, directly from the individual Accredited Business Reviews, that is found be searching by business name or type of goods or services, in our Accredited Business Directory. If you click on the name of the business, on the Profile, it will take you to their BBB Business Review. Each Business Review now has a large “Request a Quote” button in the right margin.
