A: About 310,000 copies of the BBB Consumer Guides are delivered to homes across Northern and Central Alberta. Copies of the Consumer Guide are delivered in tandem with various community newspapers.
Q: Does this directory “endorse” accredited businesses?
A: No, it is not an endorsement; it’s a listing of all businesses that are accredited by the BBB. The companies have agreed to follow our Code of Ethics and meet our Standards. We don’t endorse or recommend any company. No one is saying, “Here’s the plumber you should be dealing with.” That is still up to the individual for their own best judgment.
